Why this product?

This is purely an aesthetic choice to cover up the felt surface of the cell phone charging area - easy to remove and clean, and prevents people from seeing the lint/dirt/stuff that will get embedded into the standard felt.

Why this brand?

This is probably the most brand indifferent I will be. I selected purely based on pattern - it’s an incredibly simple product so any competitive product will be essentially the same.

Long Story Long

Even though I primarily use my cell phone mount to hold and charge my phone, that doesn’t mean I don’t get annoyed looking at the standard felt area of the cell phone charging cubby. To be sure, it’s a nice feeling area, but it shows every speck of dirt and dust, every time you rub your finger over it, you’re leaving some swipe pattern. Also, for cell phones with cases, you leave an imprint especially around the camera area - none of those things look nice, and over time, I worry that the felt wears out or gets too dirty to clean.

Enter this incredibly subtle product that I would have no way have thought of for myself.

It’s a removeable sliicone mat cut to fit the cell phone area…that’s it. If it gets dirty, you can take it out and clean it.
If you already stained the area, you can cover it up with this product.
Depending on how fancy you want to get, you can get this in different colors or patterns.
Still charges your phone just fine (or as fine as that area charges your phone, we all know how finicky it can be and this doesn’t make it any better or worse.

If you’ve read this far, you’re already overthinking it. Either you like what it does or it’s the most frivolous thing ever. Good chance it’s both.
